It is a painful skin condition that causes blisters on the skin and mucus membranes. Pemphigus Vulgaris is an autoimmune disease in which the immune system attacks your healthy tissues. Pemphigus can occur in any part of the body but is most commonly found in the mouth, throat, nose, eyes, lungs, and genitals.
